These Terms of Use apply to the website of Follow Me Veterans Foundation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them before using the site. By using the site, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. Separate written agreements or terms presented for a particular service or transaction may also apply.
Our website and mission
The site provides information about our work with veterans in Los Angeles County, possible resources and referrals, volunteering, and ways to support the foundation. Information is offered for general educational and informational purposes. It is not individualized medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or tax advice, and use of the site does not create a professional-client relationship.
Not an emergency service
Website forms and email are not emergency channels and are not monitored continuously. If there is immediate danger, call 911. Veterans and their loved ones can contact the Veterans Crisis Line by dialing 988, then pressing 1, or texting 838255. Do not wait for a website response when urgent help is needed.
Support requests and volunteering
Submitting a request does not guarantee housing, funding, benefits, treatment, a referral, or any other service. Availability and eligibility depend on resources and the requirements of the relevant program or provider. Outside providers make their own decisions. Expressing interest in volunteering does not confirm a placement or create employment; a role and any requirements must be agreed with the team before work begins.
Donations and pending tax status
IRS recognition of Follow Me Veterans Foundation as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) is pending. Tax deductibility of donations is not guaranteed while approval is pending. Consult your tax advisor regarding your contribution.
Review the amount, frequency, optional processing-fee contribution, and final total before submitting a donation. A recurring option authorizes gifts at the frequency shown in checkout until canceled under the applicable payment service’s procedures. Use the management instructions in your donation confirmation, if available, or contact us for help changing or stopping future gifts. Contact us promptly about an error or refund request; any refund is subject to applicable law and payment-provider procedures. These terms do not promise a particular refund outcome or limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
Responsible use and submissions
Use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not impersonate others, submit misleading information, harass anyone, send spam or malicious code, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or infringe others’ rights. You are responsible for information you submit and for having permission to share another person’s information. Do not send Social Security numbers, medical records, payment-card details, or identification documents through general forms or email.
We may use your submissions to respond and administer the matters you raise, as described in our Privacy Policy. Sending a personal story or photograph does not, by itself, authorize us to publish it as a testimonial.

Content on this site belongs to the foundation or its respective owners, except where otherwise indicated. You may view and share links to the site for lawful personal or community purposes. Obtain permission before reproducing content beyond uses allowed by law. Do not use our name or logo to imply an endorsement or partnership without permission.

Illustrations identified as AI-generated do not depict actual clients or volunteers.
Availability and limits
We aim to provide useful information, but content may be incomplete or become outdated. The website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Please confirm current details directly with the relevant organization before relying on a resource.
To the extent permitted by law, the foundation is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Changes, applicable law, and contact
We may update the site or these terms and will post the revised terms with an updated effective date. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or agreement required by law. California law and applicable federal law govern these terms, without depriving you of mandatory protections under other applicable law.
